Hopefully the end of the pandemic is in sight, and in order for us to deal with the huge increase in demand, our GPs will continue to offer a phone first service for all initial consultation. You will be assessed via telephone and the doctor may then offer a face to face appointment, prescription or advice. Please ensure you have your telephone with you to receive the doctor's callback.

Once the doctors' lists have reached capacity, further calls will only be facilitated in the case of a medical emergency. Otherwise, you will be asked to ring back the following day. If your condition worsens, please do no hesitate to contact us again.

Our reception staff will take details of the nature of your problem and contact details. These questions help the doctor to ensure you receive:

* the most appropriate medical care

* from the most appropriate health professional

* at the most appropriate time

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
